How can I book a Sailing Trip?
To book a sailing trip or lesson, visit our website at www.hornbyislandsailing.com and navigate to the "Book Now" section. Choose your desired date, time, and follow the instructions to complete the booking process.
What is included in the sailing experience?

Food: A delicious Charcuterie board is included, showcasing the local delicacies of Hornby Island. Enjoy a variety of savory treats during your sailing adventure.

Drinks: Cold water is provided to keep you hydrated throughout the trip. Additionally, you are welcome to bring your alcoholic beverages to enjoy a drink while sailing. Please drink responsibly and adhere to any legal drinking age restrictions.

What safety measures are in place?
At Hornby Island Sailing, safety is our top priority. We provide life jackets for all participants and ensure our boat is regularly inspected and maintained. Our host is certified and well-versed in safety protocols to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.

Hornby Island Sailing offers a variety of sailing experiences, including scenic tours, sunset cruises, private charters, and customized trips. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sailor, we have options to suit your preferences.
Is it necessary to sign a waiver before boarding a sailing trip or lesson?
Yes, all participants are required to sign a waiver before boarding any sailing trip or lesson. The waiver is standard practice to ensure that everyone understands the risks associated with sailing and acknowledges their responsibility for their safety during the experience. To streamline the process, we offer online waiver signing. You will receive an email with a copy of the waiver. Download, and read the waiver carefully. You can electronically sign or sign manually and email us a copy of the signed waiver at hornbyislandsailing@gmail.com.
Can I bring minors on board?
Children are welcome on our sailing trips; however, their safety and comfort are important considerations. Please get in touch with us in advance to discuss any specific requirements or restrictions.
What are the cancellation terms for sailing trips?
Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled sailing trip without incurring a cancellation fee. However, if a cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total booking amount will be charged.

What should I bring for my sailing trip?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, appropriate clothing for the weather conditions, and non-marking shoes. You may also want drinks and snacks for longer trips.
